Trump’s Poodle, Keir Starmer, Collared by Xi

UK PM Keir Starmer tries to free himself from his master, US President Trump, but is unwittingly ensnared by another dictator.

Chinese Premier Xi Jinping courted UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer recently in an effort to foster relations and boost economic ties. However, the summit drew scathing criticism from US President Trump, who declared that developing a stronger relationship with China was “very dangerous”.

Trump took time out of a busy two weeks threatening NATO ally Denmark with invasion to advise Starmer to not “make a foolish mistake” by aligning with China. The US President, said to be a shrewd tactician, was taken aback by Starmer’s clumsy diplomatic maneuvering. “I don’t understand why anyone would want to deal with a belligerent and untrustworthy nation like China!” he bristled to reporters during an Oval Office presser. ” I think I’m going to have to teach him a lesson” he growled while furiously smashing a button on his desk, the purpose of which aides declined to explain.

Starmer, emboldened by his new found friendship with Xi and keen to let go of Trump’s aprons strings, took the opportunity to hail a new trade deal with China. “The Premier and I have had a very cordial and productive meeting. Our relationship with China is based on respect, economic benefit and security. But there is something in it for the UK too”, beamed Starmer broadly.

“The UK will increase exports of shortbread biscuits by 50% – we’ve also thrown in all our nuclear, telecommunications and weapons technologies as a freebie – in exchange for a 1000% increase in imports of straight-to-landfill Chinese products”, he added triumphantly.

Xi then spoke to reveal that his advisors had successfully jammed and removed Trump’s shock-collar from Starmer. The PM hugged him gratefully and tearfully announced “I must return to Britain forthwith!”. Before stepping onto the airport shuttle bus, Xi approached Starmer and gifted him a traditional Chinese necklace, which to the untrained eye appeared to be a thick, steel band with curious flashing LEDs. “May I put it on you?”, the Premier said without waiting. The necklace clanked firmly into place, and without further ado, the PM was whisked away.
